Account controls
Delete your account in the app.
The signed-in deletion flow is the direct way to remove your What's the Game? account.
Open Profile
Sign in to the account you want to delete and open Profile.
Choose Delete account
Read the consequences, confirm the account email, and enter the requested confirmation phrase.
Resolve group ownership
If you own a Trip or Normal Game, select an eligible successor or an offered archive option. The app explains any required choice before deletion can continue.
Confirm deletion
After deletion succeeds, the app clears the local WTG session and returns to the signed-out state. The deleted credentials can no longer sign in.
What is removed or revoked
Your account authority and personal account links are removed. Profile access, payment-destination preferences, invitations, sessions, and applicable software capabilities are removed or revoked.
What may remain
Shared completed golf facts may remain in de-identified form where needed to preserve other participants' scorecards, results, Stats, and mathematically correct settlement. Personal account links are removed.
Limited retention
Some information may be retained when needed for security, dispute handling, accounting, or legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the reason information is retained; WTG does not publish a fixed retention schedule for V1.
